THE SEATTLE TIME .
Last week, i read The Summer Vacation Hot Spot? Close To Home on the newspaper. It wrote about summer vacation.
Derly Girault usually flies to Miami with her two daughers to spend their summer vacation with family and take in the heat and sun. In years when they don't make the trip, they typically drive to the Oregon Coast, where they stay in the motel and shop tax- free. Not this years. It 's too expensive. They aren't going. Many people in the region, confronted by the high price of gas and air travel, are sticking closer to home this summer.
People are tending to travel shorter distances. In some cases, they are staying for a shorter time.
47% said they were changing their vacation plans because of high gas prices.

Spce in the San Juans
Gas- guzzlers special
$40 gas credit for an RV
$20 for the camper to lure folks the 175 miles
They chose some place near them
They are sticking around and going camping.
